The following questions will be included on the Chp. 12 test tomorrow.  Choose one question and prepare your written answer.  Do not recite the text word for word; write your own essay based on the information in the text.  Do your own work so that your essay will not mirror someone else's.  Spelling and grammatical errors will be graded.  Essays that I can't read will not be graded.  When you take your test, you'll write your essay without the text or notes.  Essay length should be enough to thoroughly cover the question information, approximately 1/4 or 1/2 page.
 1.  Discuss some of the major issues that young adults who are between the ages of 20 to 39 face to include family, social, emotional,  financial, and career concerns.  Describe and discuss some of the difficulties that arise when young adults become independent (or try to become independent) from their parents.   Discuss ways in which the difficulties of this period could be minimized.

2.  What are some unique challenges that people between the ages of 40 to 59 face to include self-evaluation about the meaning of one's life, disappointments, beginning physical decline, the empty nest syndrome and female menopause (and the equivalent male period of turbulence).  Discuss ways in which the difficulties of this period could be minimized.

3.  What are some unique challenges that people who are 60 and older face including stereotypes and misconceptions about the elderly, changing lifestyles, health issues, abilities and concerns.  Discuss ways in which the difficulties of this period could be minimized.
